Welcome to the "ICO Icon Generator" (the "Service"), provided and operated by Upliftorch ("the Company").

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions of these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please stop using the Service immediately.

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Modified terms will be published on this page. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

The Service provides a free online image format conversion tool with the following main features:

• Converting common image formats (PNG, JPG, GIF, etc.) to ICO format
• Automatically cropping or padding images to a square while preserving transparent backgrounds
• Supporting multiple standard ICO sizes (16×16 to 256×256)
• Processing images locally in the user's browser without requiring any uploads

The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis. The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors, or fitness for any particular purpose.

3. Acceptable Use

By using the Service, you agree to:

1. Only use images to which you have lawful rights, including your own original works or properly licensed content
2. Not use the Service for any illegal activities
3. Not use the Service to infringe on others' copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
4. Not attempt to access, disrupt, or damage the normal operation of the Service
5. Not use automated tools (bots, crawlers, etc.) to access the Service in bulk
6. Not distribute malware or any harmful content

The Company reserves the right to terminate your access to the Service for violations of the above rules without prior notice.

4. Intellectual Property

Regarding images you upload:

• Copyright in your uploaded images and the resulting ICO files remains with the original rights holder
• The Company does not claim any copyright over images you upload
• Because all image processing occurs entirely in your browser, the Company never has access to your image content

Regarding the Service itself:

• The interface design, source code, and article content of the Service are protected by copyright law and owned by Upliftorch
• Copying, reproducing, or commercially using the content of the Service without written authorization from the Company is prohibited

5. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as-is" without any express or implied warranties
• The Company does not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
• The Company is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service
• The Company is not responsible for service interruptions caused by network outages, system failures, or other force majeure events
• Conversion quality may vary depending on the quality of the source image and the browser version

6. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. For information about how the Service collects and uses personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service.

Special note: the image conversion functionality of the Service runs entirely in your browser. Your images are never transmitted to the Company's servers.

7. Advertising

The Service displays advertisements through Google AdSense to support its continued operation. Advertising content is provided by Google based on user interests. The Company is not responsible for the accuracy or suitability of advertising content.

If you encounter problematic advertising content, please report it through Google's relevant channels or contact us directly.

8. Service Modifications and Termination

The Company reserves the following rights without liability to any party:

• Add, modify, or remove any features of the Service at any time
• Temporarily or permanently discontinue the Service
• Restrict access to the Service for specific users or regions

If the Service is permanently discontinued, the Company will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

For any disputes arising from these Terms of Service or the use of the Service, both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
